2) They make fun of people who wear cowboy boots (oh the horror!)
3) People who consider themselves "country" or "hicks" like to line dance. I'm pretty sure that went out of style in the 80's, MAYBE early 90's, but they think it's cool. So glad we just 2-step.
4) The people of St. Louis take a lot more pride in keeping their city clean than any other big city I've every been to. I like that.
5) You CAN take over 50 pictures of the same arch within a 2-day time span. I can prove it.
6) Snow up north means a flooded Mississippi River.
7) Cheering on the Cardinals never became so easy. Rangers who?...
8) Dallas Cowboys have a way cooler stadium than the Rams. Neh ne neneh nehhhh
9) Drivers in Texas are 100X friendlier.
10) Saying "ya'll" will get you ridiculed for not going ahead and saying "you all." (I didn't even know that's what it meant till junior high so :P all you northerners)
11) There really are beavers, bears, and moose in Illinois.
12) No one can out-John Deere you like they can.
13) Fellow Texas Tech students really are not that friendly toward each other when you see them in another state. Yes, I'm talking to YOU girls-who-wear-tech-gear-and-say-they-go-to-tech-but-look-at-you-like-crazy-when-you-give-the-guns-up.
14) Trying to catch up on 16 years worth of life means LOTS of talking.
15) You can be in the same city as your kindergarten best friend (Lubbock) when she makes it to the national cross country meet that was held by Texas Tech, and not even know it. So, instead, you drive 14 hours one way just to see her.
But, my overall learning experience....
GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!!
